Excessive sweating of the hands, feet or under the arms is a medical condition called hyperhidrosis. Many people struggle with this daily, leading to difficulties at work, in social situations, and even in everyday activities such as reading the mail or writing a letter. ETS, or endoscopic thoracic sympathectomy, is a brief surgical procedure done through a single one centimeter incision under each arm while the patient sleeps.
